I should get that book.SAP DB heisst bald MySQL [create MaxDB], das bislang unter dem Namen MySQL Max firmierende Technologie-Potpourri wird ebenso umbenannt (über den neuen Namen ist allerdings noch nicht entschieden). Über kurz oder lang wird somit SAP DB wohl (ähnlich InnoDB) als zusätzlicher Table Handler ein anzunehmenderweise etwas populäreres Dasein fristen.

Update: Nicht Table Handler, aber immerhin das MySQL-Protokoll wird MaxDB verstehen (und somit mit allen existierenden Spielarten von MySQL-Clients mehr oder weniger friktionsfrei kommunizieren können). Weitere Details hier.
