Solcherlei nennt man dann wohl um der Effekthascherei willen an den Haaren aus dem Kontext reissen o.ä. — Das SnipSnap-Demo ist im Übrigen insbesondere Inspirationssuchenden was Einsatzfelder von Wiki/Weblog-Software (wie auch Vanilla eine solche ist) betrifft sehr ans Herz (& Hirn) zu legen.

Wenn das was wird, dann wird's was Wichtiges. Ist GCJ tatsächlich schon so weit? Schaut nicht schlecht aus, die Schwachpunkte scheinen sich auf AWT und Swing zu konzentrieren (und dürften damit wohl leider auch Java 2D inkludieren — oha, auch daran wird offensichtlich gearbeitet).
