One of the most astonishing demos in recent times: Microsoft's Photosynth (video). Like retrievr, it's based on research done by the GRAIL group at the University of Washington, and while the Live Labs folks are busy recoding the application using DirectX, you can try the applet version on the Photo Tourism site.[create Tantek Çelik] and Rohit Khare on the past, present and future of [create Microformats]: "We will have succeeded when no one cares."
