After being reminded of Google Analytics (which could be termed the Microsoft Office amongst web analytics tools) when skimming the Bigtable paper (2006-08-31-bigTable) and noting the somewhat troubling fact that clickstream data accounts for a whopping 250TB (a more than respectable fraction of crawl data at 800+50TB and Google Earth imagery at 71TB, see also Mr Linden's post) I finally decided to kick it to the curb.

As it's much too cumbersome to navigate the Analytics maze to finally arrive at the few bits of data that actually interest me I hadn't looked at the stats for months anyway, so there's little incentive to contribute to Google's flächendeckenden Wahrnehmungsteppich (hackr).
