Distance-preserving Dimensionality Reduction technique usually used for Proximity Visualization in [create Positioning Analysis] &c.

Given (potentially ordinal) pair-wise proximities represented as distance matrix D, to be found is a configuration of points in p-dimensional space ([create Coordinate Recovery]) such that the coordinates of those points yield an Euclidean distance matrix approximating the elements of the given matrix D.
