Mr. Gibson is a founder and Exe. VP of SC Power Systems, Inc. a world class low cost manufacturer of superconductor materials and power quality apparatus used as regulating devices such as high voltage Fault Current Limiters/Controllers, SMES, harmonic conditioners and transformers. Industries in need of these devices are power utilities, continuous process manufacturers and large server farms in need of power quality.
Mr. Gibson is also a director and consultant to Jane Capital Parners, LLC. He is one of the foremost experts on strategic partnerships for emerging advanced power and environmental technology firms. Mr. Gibson has extensive experience in the environmental, energy, and marine sectors. He was the Founder and SVP of Business Development of Thorne Environmental, a US remediation firm, and General Manager/Special Projects Planner for International Technologies Corporation (ITX:NYSE), where he helped grow revenues from $2m to $500m in 5 years. Earlier in his career he was a consultant for Lloyd's
of London, managing large marine salvage projects on behalf of
Lloyd's and shipowners of various sizes and types around the world. Mr. Gibson started his career as a US Navy diver, and has a degree in marine engineering and an executive M.B.A. from Pepperdine.
