Thanks. The Canon Cat link is interesting. I still fail to get CREEPing, and find the description of LEAP tortuous---I guess I'll have to wait for a demo or an implementation to see what it is all about. However, Raskin's comments about `mousing around' in his manual make me wonder if he has done his measurments with a `single button mouse' (I suppose this might be `typical' for a departed Apple guru) or a modern `scrolling' mouse. AFAICS the usefulness of mice jumped dramatically with the introduction of the scroll button.
