The thing is that Sony's Clié PDA now have 2MPixel cameras built in, so, where to store/share the data? The separation of the disk from the "terminal" reminds me of car stereos, where you also have a CD juke box in the trunk separated from the panel. Same with ad-hoc networks, PDAs can stay as they are, and don't have to be eveolved into full-blown "shrinked PCs". The server also is cheaper than a Clié NZ90 handheld, by the way.
