![]() Back from BlogWalk 2.0 in Nürnberg. It's been a very good time. Once again there was a series of very enjoyable "First Encounters in Even More Real Reality": this time featuring my host Martin Spernau (thanks again, especially for the great breakfast) and Andi Fink, both of whom I've had the pleasure to know for a long, long time in Slightly Less Real Reality, Rainer Wasserfuhr, who always seems to think in amazingly similar directions (and has real Oz experience!), Moe of plasticthinking.org fame — as well as some folks I saw at last year's BlogTalk but only now had the opportunity to really talk to, like Sebastian Fiedler, Martin Röll and Lilia Efimova. Speaking of Sebastian Fiedler: Thanks a lot! He selected not only a practically perfect base camp, the Bar Korsakow in the Krakauer Turm right in the midst of Nürnberg, which indeed is a very nice city (at least the parts we got to see while having a beer at the Wöhrder Wiese and when — true to the name of the event — engaging in a post-lunch sightseeing walk through the quasi-historical center), but also a startingly relevant chapter of (Vienna-born) Ivan Illich's book Deschooling Society (1970?), Learning Webs, as food for thought for the ensuing discussions on the overarching theme of self-organized learning. I hope the conversation continues, as I'm sure we barely scratched the surface of that topic ... Added to the Rotation: Lisa Neun's Weblog, Flash Gamez. More to come. no comments Please log in (you may want to register first) to post comments! |
