Gobi on the Trac* to Subversion. Hannes reports.

Fantastic! Issue tracking functionality should be a home run for Gobi as well.

* Too fun a pun not to be stolen."The world doesn't stop where the "Start" menu ends."

Also: The [create WebOS] meme is back (on ...), with a fine dose of hybridlication spice.

WebOS, hm?
Actually SymphonyOS (currently in alpha4) has all this webserver for local gui apps things: www.symphonyos.com/orchestra.html
(and a very cool desktop www.symphonyos.com/mezzo.html)
... looks very interesting, maybe someone will invest in these guys... on the other hand i think this kottke guy (like many other) goes to crazy about all that ajax apps and the whole the web as a plattform thing.

ppp: interesting links! thanks. before there's a "http" (i.e. some amount of standardization) of hybrid desktop/web apps (& associated runtimes and [delta] protocols), there certainly won't be wide-spread adoption of that idea. imagine the mess of having 27 little web servers on every client ...

simon: arrived there yet? ;-)
