Wie zu erwarten schraubt Sun am in Mustang mitzuliefernden Rhino herum; die Änderungen fallen summa summarum am ehesten unter die Kategorie Footprint-induzierte Verschlimmbesserung: Kein E4X, keine Class-File-Generation (und damit kein Optimizer) sowie ein neuer JavaAdapter, mit dem sich nur mehr ein (!) Interface implementieren lässt und Klassen nicht erweitert werden können.

Doch besser Helma Java assimilieren.

ad c., the rating thingy was extremely valuable in showing me what kind of input (qualitatively speaking) something like retrievr gets. random in, random out! the nice thing about retr is that random great images are still great images.

btw: Looking at the rating thingy in all its scarequote-italicizedness above in your post, i just wanted to say that any potentially belittling tone in the use of that phrase was of course completely unintended.

scd: I can't seem to comment here using FF (1.5.0) -- after (successful) logins, I'm promptly kicked out as soon as any editing or commenting is attempted. Is this a known problem?

I like the rating thingy! no scare.

yeah, the mozfolks seem to have fscked up their cookie handling ... or ... er ... this particular vanilla version's was broken all along. probably the latter.
