Js used to be Self and than Livewire, which was enough for me. Diversity although disturbing, is good and necessary. If anybody wants to to program in js because they having code and not only data on the client machines is cool, should just simply learn and use it. It does not help that any medium elitist python or ruby man wants to be Brendan Eich.
