Mittwoch, 12. April 2006 Paul McJones discovered and scanned a 1960 draft version of what was intended to become the sixth chapter in Ken Iverson's and Fred Brooks' 1963 classic Automatic Data Processing as well as a preprint of The Description of Finite Sequential Processes, a paper presented at the 4th London Conference on Information Theory in August, 1960. Both documents are available* from the CHM History of APL project site. They must be among the very earliest publications related to APL in existence, predating the publication of A Programming Language by 2 years. * Currently only upon personal request until the copyright holders have been identified.
