A tenative vanilla newbie.

Sadly, I'm monolingual english so I can't keep up so much on the langreiter weblog -- but I love the links. I'm using the VanillaSBX for windows (which, I take isn't the newest version) for a personal CMS, and I have tons of questions, including:

Q: Has Vanilla been Abandoned? The yahoo group has had no new posts, nor has there been much on this site. I'm just beginning to see how powerful it is...
A: Vanilla most definitely has NOT been abandoned ;-) I have heard from several people that they have posting problems with the yahoo group (I have too), so I'll probably switch list providers soon. Otherwise: stay tuned ;-)

Q: Can I have comments in snips, templates, etc? In other words, could I create a snip that holds a question and have people add comments to answer it? Can any snip, not just du jour entries have comments?
